Overcast skies, light winds, about 75'.
Had about 3 hours before dark, I started at the Everglades Holiday Park. The pumps were running and there was a good flow coming out of the canal system. No action. I moved about 2 miles toward the city of Davie, FL. Almost immediately I hooked this 1 pound Black on a Black/Silver Rapala. I just felt that there were bigger fish in this hole. I switched to a Texas rigged Red Shad worm, had several good bites and had a good fish on but did not land it. The action slowed so I moved to the Canal near I-75 and Griffin Road. After working the shoreline without any action. I switched to a White Spinnerbait with a White Grub trailer and moved to a 2 acre pond by "McDonalds". I got the second one at dusk.
